Mission Statement

It is the goal of the Center for Economic Education in conjunction with Troy University to promote and increase the economic literacy of our local, state, and national entities. In order to effectively create more savvy consumers, productive workers, informed voters and globally-minded individuals we must prepare today's youth. In order to accurately disseminate this information we must target our local educators.

We are committed to this task by offering workshops, training seminars, resources and assistance. It is with this partnership we are confident we can aid in increasing economic literacy throughout Alabama.

Center Activities

• We act as a liaison between the business community, Troy University, educational administrators and local educators to provide tangible data and materials to increase the economic literacy of our students.
• We target all students, K-12 with our initiative.
• It is our goal to provide these resources at no charge to the teachers.
